Geoffrey Vanderhaegen – Vocals & Rhythm Guitar

Geoffrey Vanderhaegen is the founder of MEATALLICA and a prominent figure in the Belgian Metallica tribute scene. His musical journey began in 1994, and with the formation of his first tribute band, Agonize, in 1998, he set the stage for what would later become multiple successful projects.

Geoffrey’s tight riffs, raw vocals, and strong stage presence bring the energy of James Hetfield to life in an authentic way. His interpretation is not just an imitation but a sincere tribute to his musical heroes.

In addition to MEATALLICA, Geoffrey founded Magnetica (2009) and Metalmania (2018). He was frequently invited as a guest vocalist with other Metallica tribute bands and performed as a guest musician in major productions such as Metallica in Symphony, with the European Philharmonic Orchestra and the Avrasya Filarmoni Orkestrasi in Turkey.

Geoffrey is a versatile musician who, in addition to guitar, plays piano and drums, always seeking new musical challenges.

Offstage, Geoffrey is a proud father of two sons, a passionate entrepreneur, and a boxing and strength training enthusiast. Despite his busy schedule, he finds peace with his wife, Stephanie, who supports him in every riff, note, and dream.
