Frederick Peeters – Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals

Born on June 7, 1984, in Retie, Frederick Peeters is the man who brings the unmistakable groove to MEATALLICA with his bass guitar. Since joining as the fourth horseman in August 2023, he has become the driving force behind the deep, pulsing basslines that elevate each performance to the next level.

His musical journey began in 2002 when he picked up the bass, and a year later, he expanded his skills by learning guitar. Always headbanging and seeking the energy he admired in Metallica’s legendary bassist, Cliff Burton, and later Jason Newsted, Frederick strives to express the same power and passion in his own playing.

In the early 2000s, he immersed himself in the Belgian underground metal scene with bands like Herfst, Welkin, and In-Quest. This period shaped his musical style, but it was with the Belgian tribute band Sanitarium – where he was active for over ten years – that his love for Metallica deepened. It was here that his deep-rooted passion for the band came to life.

As the workhorse of MEATALLICA, Frederick is driven to perfect his craft. His sharp eye for detail and his relentless pursuit of perfection are evident in his playing. This drive not only makes him musically strong but also ensures that he continuously challenges himself to reach new heights. His hard work and determination make him an indispensable force on and off the stage.

Inspired by legendary bassists like Cliff Burton, Alex Webster, Geezer Butler, and Jean-Michel Labadie, his powerful and precise playing is a fundamental part of MEATALLICA’s sound. His basslines are the backbone of the band, with an energy that cannot be ignored.
