Arnoud Van de Griend – Drums

With drumsticks in his hands since the age of four, Arnoud Van de Griend is a musician who lives for rhythm, power, and precision. What began with a toy drum kit has grown into a lifelong passion.

As the third member of MEATALLICA since 2020, Arnoud forms the solid backbone of the band alongside Geoffrey and Conrad. He is the heartbeat of the group, effortlessly combining raw power with finesse. Inspired by drummers like Lars Ulrich, Mike Portnoy, Mario Duplantier, and Thomas Lang, he has developed his own playing style that is both intense and technically refined.

Onstage, Arnoud is a beast – his double bass drums and tight fills drive the band forward with pure adrenaline. Whether he’s pounding through Master of Puppets or bringing the dramatic dynamics of Welcome Home (Sanitarium) to life, his playing is a true tribute to Metallica’s legacy.

With his always positive attitude and infectious humor, Arnoud is an indispensable part of MEATALLICA – both on and offstage.

His motto? “Seize the day!” – because in both music and life, it’s all about making the most of every moment.
